Omar Al-Kadi
Omar is a professor in computational imaging and machine intelligence at the University of Jordan. He is interested in computational imaging, texture analysis modelling and clinical data mining and deep learning techniques for automated detection and diagnosis of disease. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford (Oxford, UK) and at the Biomedical Imaging group within the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing at the University of Surrey (Guildford, UK). He was also a Fulbright visiting scholar at the Radiology and Bioimaging Department at Yale University (New Haven, USA), and a visiting professor at the Medical Image Processing lab at EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland) and the Computer Science Department at University of Marburg (Marburg, Germany).
